The Marriott's Great America Show Operations Department/Six Flags Great America Entertainment Department 50th Reunion is coordinated by volunteer alumni who are dedicated to keeping this wonderful group of people together and connected. We have no direct affiliation with Marriott International or Six Flags Entertainment Corporation and receive no financial support or assistance from either organization. We are grateful to be able to contract with Six Flags Great America for our group event and catered picnic. We are also grateful to be able to contract with the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort for our Friday evening reception and room block. Both organizations have been very gracious in working with us to create a reunion event that will be both memorable and affordable.
Our first reunion was celebrated in 2006, thirty years after the park's opening. The 30th was coordinated by Dave W. with events at the Marriott Resort in Lincolnshire and at Six Flags Great America.
Our second reunion was celebrated in 2016, forty years after the park's opening. The 40th was coordinated by David C. with assistance from Ben B. and featured only a casual reception at the Marriott Resort in Lincolnshire Illinois.
The upcoming 50th reunion is being co-coordinated by Dave W. and David C. as we are both too old to do this by ourselves anymore!
